Cold LAser Therapy (photobiomodulation)
Laser therapy uses lights to change how your cells work, respond and repair. The laser works to increase the productivity of mitochondria (power centres of cells) to increase the rate of healing by increasing blood flow to the area and stimulating the body's natural immune response. This can decrease pain, swelling and muscular spasms to promote healing.
Effects can often be felt after the first treatment.
In as little as 4-6 treatments, the full effects of the laser can be felt and gain optimal healing and cell revitalisation.
Conditions treated with laser:
> pain management (natural alternative)
> fracture healing
> chronic pain
> acute injuries, including sprains and strains
> disc herniation
> mild osteoarthritis
> frozen shoulder
> rheumatoid arthritis
> repetitive strain injuries e.g. carpal tunnel
